It's Testicular Cancer Awareness Month!
April is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month so we decided that before April ended, we would write on the importance of being aware about the symptoms and prevalence of testicular cancer. Testicular cancer is most common in men 18-35, and is usually detected by a lump or/and discomfort or heaviness in the testicles. It’s not pretty to talk about… but men need to become more aware! We both actually had testicular exams and ultrasounds earlier this month to ensure that we did not have testicular cancer and we suggest, if you’re a male, you do the same! You can also do an at home exam by googling “how to do a testicular cancer exam” and being guided with a tutorial. To our male readers, please check yourself at least once a month! It’s better to detect cancer while it’s in it’s incipient stages.
